About Kidney Stone

Kidney stones are solid masses of mineral salt deposits that are normally filtered through the kidney and emptied via urine. Urine has a natural substance, which dissolves these minerals thereby preventing them into becoming solids or calculi. Sometimes, due to dehydration, these salts don’t get dissolved and crystallization takes place. It grows large enough to obstruct the renal ducts or stuck in the uterus, causing sharp and severe pain in the urinary tract. Untreated urinary stones can cause renal failure.

Common causes of kidney stones are urinary tract infection, overdose of vitamin D, mineral imbalance, kidney disease, dehydration, gout, diet.

Home remedies for kidney stones:
Watermelon is full of water and potassium, this fruit works as an excellent diuretic to keep the kidneys flushed of kidney stone substances.
Figs can be boiled to extract the juice. Drink this on an empty stomach in the morning for one month.
Basil presumably has the ability to strengthen kidney function to fight kidney stones. It is believed that by consuming one teaspoon of basil juice and honey on a daily basis over a six-month period, kidney stones can be passed. The basil should be soaked overnight and then squeezed to extract the juice needed for this concoction.
Juice of radish leaves are also effective, take 1 cup of this juice 2 times a day.
Eating 2-3 apples a day is also found to be effective.
Drink 1 glass of fresh Tomato juice, with a pinch of salt and pepper, empty stomach in the morning.

Another concoction is a complex mixture of juices combined and taken at specific intervals. The recipe is as follows: One quart of apple juice should be consumed on a daily basis for five days followed by a tablespoon of Epsom salts with water on the sixth day, preferable missing dinner that evening, taken twice in the evening. Two hours after the last glass of Epsom salt and water, drink four ounces of olive oil and four ounces of fresh lemon juice. By the next morning, the stones should pass. At this point, another drink should be made of tomato juice with salt and paper sprinkles.
